June4

I am reading about astronomy these days, what are nakshatras, asterisms etc. Here is a poem by Dushyant Kumar, very much different from his usual style, that talks about eclipse and a women’s beauty. I find these poems, that club human love with Nature’s beauty, to be brilliant.

( सध्य्स्रात = one who has just bathed ,
.कुन्तल = hair
राहू = an imaginary planet/demon which eats up sun and moon causing solar/lunar eclipses )

* this refers to passing of an eclipse )

The real feel of sweet in the poem touches the hearts of the loved and beloved with a beautiful expression. Perhaps possible only to Sri Dushyanth
